Legacy iPhone
Wow this project is the biggest headache but it's one that I love. I remember watching the 2007 Oscars when the very first iPhone ad ran live & my eight year old brain thought "HECK YEAH I WANT ONE OF THOSE!" I started selling Candy bars in school and kept doing so all the way up until middle school trying to save up for one of these overpriced mp3 players. By the time I was a freshman in highschool (7 years after that first 2007 ad), the iPhone 2g was an obsolete relic and iOS 7 was blowing people away on the iPhone 5, 5s & 5c. It seemed that I would never have a modern iPhone. That was until I came across the Whited00r project. Before lunchtime that day I was on eBay & had my first gen 8gb iPhone shipped to my house for about $30. I put Whited00r on it and I was the coolest dork in my computer class for the next 3 days after it arrived. From that day until the end of highschool, I was the dork you'd pay to fix your broken iPhone. But as time goes on, even obsolescence rescue projects die. It's been at least 7 years since I sold that phone to someone who was willing to pay more for one with Whited00r functioning completely. In the time that's passed, my love for the project has not died, but Whited00r and many other iOS3 rescue projects have. This is mostly due to the fact that when certain key community members fall, their knowledge tends to fall shortly after when sites aren't renewed and concepts are forgotten.
I've broken this project into -a few- projects that should be digested one at a time. This is an active work in progress so I will be labeling things that may not yet exist at your time of reading. Be sure to check back for updates as this page will change and will link to some more helpful pages in the future. (I will delete this part when everything works as it should, until then just assume this is incomplete.)

Fixing the old CA Certification issue.
Luckily a lot of the ground work for this has already been done for us on this one. Thanks to invoxiplay games we can allegedly install the required certificates back on stock iOS 3.1.3. I have yet to confirm this myself as I have been exclusively testing on Whited00r 7 and I suspect that there is an old custom certificate updater that was included in Whitd00r that is conflicting with Invoxiplaygames' Httpatch tweak.

Welcome to the bottom of the iceberg. NOT for the faint of heart.
Future Release Plans
After completing this guide & making sure my own ducks are in a nice straight row, I do intend to extend this project to include all legacy devices all the way to iPhone 4s, maybe 6 if I still have energy. After all, these devices suffer from the same sickness, just at varying intensities. *Hey Zach in the future look at this: https://www.reddit.com/r/LegacyJailbreak/comments/16cmtn9/release_itunes_store_fixer_also_app_store_and_more/
